After a recent server move I am still working on getting everything working again, reinserting pics that were broken when my gallery crashed and doing other things here and there including rearranging and adding more content. SITE MAY LOOK CRAZY FOR A WHILE…
While I work out a few issues with the way pictures are displayed and test out some new themes. I absolutely loved the theme that I was using before (Chaotic Soul), and I had tweaked it quite a bit, but i could not work out one very annoying issue with the way that pictures were displayed inside of posts. It made all the posts looked jumbled together on the page and it drove me nuts. So until I can work out that out, I have switched. I may never go back. I may keep this one, or I may find another that I like.
I am also working on totally redoing the site to point to http://caincreative.biz. That is being built on a different server, and once it’s ready http://caincreativememories.com will point there for a while.

Site revamp underway.

The Shopping Cart has been fixed.
I finally figured out the issue. The shopping cart function in the gallery is active again. You may now order prints using Paypal, any major credit card, or just email the order to me for offline processing.
Equipment mishaps
The wedding day was really something. Of course the end result is what is important, but I had quite a share of mishaps!! This was my first *job* since the boys were born, so I was out of practice with preparing, etc.
First, both batteries on my primary camera died because I forgot to charge them, and I left the charger at home. I had my backup secondary camera with me, which truthfully sucks. It is one that I have been trying to get rid of even though I have not had it that long. It did not live up to our expectations at all. Mostly, the shutter speed is slow, the time between shots is slow, and it does not do very well in low light. Well, the batteries in that one ran down too! I had to use the brides own camera to finish the event. So glad that she had it!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos. There are a couple of technical issues on the site that I will be working out. (1) The shopping cart is currently not working, so if you wish to order pictures, please drop us an email. (2) The sort order on the photos is off. It sorted them correctly, but since the shots were taken with 3 different cameras, it would sort the ones from the first camera, then the 2nd camera, then the 3rd instead of all in order as they should be.
I hope to have those issues fix very soon.
Also, special thanks to some of Nisey’s friends that took a lot of the pictures of the ladies getting ready before the wedding.

My good friends T and Nisey are getting married on October 28. Wow!! That is only a couple of weeks away. I am very happy for them. It’s about time.
I had the pleasure of taking engagement portraits of them a couple of weeks ago. Check them out in our Photo Gallery.
They were great, great subjects and I am really looking forward to attending and photographing their wedding. My girls will be flower girls. YAYYY. I can’t wait.

New Site
Welcome to our new, redesigned website. Sure, it looks almost identical to the old one, but it’s better. All of our content has been ported over to Wordpress to make it easier to keep everything current and keep you informed of our goings on.
You will also notice some new things in the links section. Not only have I reconfigured this site, I have been playing with all of my sites! Check them out.
